Why is Master Elite™ so important?
GAF’s Master Elite™ Certification is the highest level roofing certification in the roofing industry. Contractors need to fulfill the following criteria to attain this certification:
- Be adequately insured
- Be properly licensed
- Be certified by GAF and is professionally trained
- Have a proven reputation in the roofing industry
Today, approximately 20 out of 1,000 roofing companies (i.e., 2% of all roofing contractors) in New Jersey qualify as Master Elite™. GAF upholds these standards by inspecting roofs that each company installs or replaces annually.
